Then Everly shocked me, even more, when she got down on one knee and said, “Castor Constar, I never stopped loving you. Will you marry me?”
“I never stopped loving you either,” I said. “But more importantly, I never stopped wanting to be your husband, so yes, I will gladly marry you.”
We spent some time kissing, and then I suggested we go tell the kids.
“Wait, before we tell your kids, there is something else I need to talk to you about.”
“Okay,” I said.
“I probably should have told you this first, but I didn’t want the information to influence your response. I needed to know if you still really loved me and wanted to be my husband.”
“What could you possibly have to say that could cause you to doubt my response would be genuine?”
“I’m pregnant! I haven’t been with anyone else in a long time. We must have conceived the night of Nathaniel and Diana’s wedding. I didn’t want you to say you’d marry me because of the baby.”
“Did you only come back and ask to marry me because of the baby?” I asked her.
“Of course not!” she said.
“Then how could you think I’d feel that way?”
“You’re right. I shouldn’t have made that assumption. Now that you know, how do you feel about it?”
“Ecstatic! I always wanted to be your husband and the father of your children.”
I then pulled her into my arms and gave her a big kiss.
After that, we went to tell the kids. Draco was too young to really understand what was happening, but Dorado and Delphini had tons of questions.
I told them a little more about Everly and my history. I explained to them that even after we broke up, I never stopped loving her. Dorado didn’t have much to say but seemed happy for us.
Delphini, on the other hand, was thrilled — her favorite singer was about to become her step mother.
Everly, sold her house in Del Sol Valley and immediately moved in with us. She has been great with the kids.
She has been helping Draco learn his numbers.
Draco adores Everly and always asks her to read him his bedtime story.
Everly also loves taking Delphini shopping for new clothes.
Thanks to their growing relationship, Delphini completed her social butterfly aspiration.
Dorado also completed the rambunctious scamp aspiration.
The twins are both working on the whiz kid’s aspiration. Therefore, I have been reading stories to them.
They have also been playing countless games of chess.
Everly is now in her second trimester, and both kids love feeling the baby kick.
We celebrated Draco’s birthday with a party at Constar Park.
He is a rambunctious scamp and has the Loves the Outdoors trait.
The twins are both close to completing the Whiz Kid aspiration. They just need to complete their mental skills.
Only a few days after his birthday Draco had already completed the rambunctious scamp aspiration.
We had all been so busy working on our skills, completing aspirations and earning promotions that I noticed that we were all coming home tense. Therefore, I decided we needed a vacation. Since Everly is now in her third trimester I rented us a cabin so she could sleep in a bed rather than on the ground.
The first morning there I made us a grand breakfast so we would have energy for the day ahead.
We had a great time hiking and fishing. While fishing the twins maxed their mental skills and completed the whiz kid aspiration.
Dorado immediately started working on the Social Butterfly Aspiration by talking to other campers.
We also had fun at the cabin playing horseshoes.
We roasted marshmallows and told scary stories around the campfire.
It was nice to get away and spend quality time as a family.
While on the camping trip the twins earned their Outdoor Badge and became Llamacorn scouts.
A few weeks after our trip Everly went into labor.
I admit I panicked.
I was still panicking all through the delivery.
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Daphnis after one of Saturn’s moons.
While I adore all of my children, I will secretly admit that Daphnis holds a special place in my heart as she is a part of Everly and me.
Delphini has been working on the artistic prodigy aspiration.
Everly has been mentoring her at the violin. This allowed Everly to complete her Musical Genius Aspiration. She is loving motherhood and decided to go for Super Parent next.
I earned my final promotion in the professional athlete career.
I was inducted into the Llamacorn Hall of Fame and received a trophy. I decided to display my trophy’s next to all of Everly’s Golden Accolade Awards.
A few weeks after my promotion Everly and I celebrated our adult birthdays. We decided to celebrate in private by going out for a romantic dinner.
After dinner we each blew out the candles on a birthday cake.
Draco completed the rambunctious scamp aspiration and went for Whiz Kid next. Delphini has been helping him by playing several games of chess.
She recently completed the Artistic Prodigy aspiration and has stated on Rambunctious Scamp.
Dorado is working on the social butterfly aspiration by playing “Don’t Wake the Llama” with several of his cousins.
Before I knew it, the day I have been dreading for so long arrived. The twins were becoming teenagers.
We had a party at the house and invited tons of family.
Delphini is a beautiful teenager with the Child of the Ocean trait.
Dorado is a handsome teenager with the Romantic trait.
After blowing out their candles the twins jumped into the pool revealing their tails. It was an amazing sight to see.
After the twins birthday, I quickly got to work on their teenage portraits.
We also celebrated Daphnis’s birthday. She is an adorable toddler with the angelic trait.
She loves to laugh and play.
Before I knew it the time had come to return the twins to their mother in Sulani.
The twins loved Sulani. Delphini was especially excited to learn that she could contact dolphins. Dorado was thrilled to learn he could control the weather. He promised to make sure Everly and I had sunshine on our wedding day.
Delphini and Dorado were also excited, yet nervous, to meet their mother. She was, of course, thrilled to see them.
Everly and I decided to give them time alone together. We took Draco and Daphnis to the beach to build sandcastles.
Daphnis loved splashing in the water.
Later, Curtis offered to take Draco fishing while Cooper watch Daphnis.
That gave Everly and I a chance to have some alone time together.
We took a trip to the waterfall. I wasn’t sure if Everly would want to go there or not seeing as how I was previously there with Sirena. I was surprised when she said she didn’t care about the past and wanted to focus only on the future.
Being with Everly under the waterfall was truly amazing.
Everly and I wanted the twins to be a part of our wedding, so we decided to get married on the beach in Sulani. Everly looked so beautiful in her dress.
“Everly, I knew from the moment I met you at age 15 that you were it for me. Every single vision I had of my future had you in it as my wife, my love, my partner in everything. Even though we were separated for a time, I am so thrilled that we found our way back to each other. You are the love of my life and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“Castor, my biggest regret is that it took us so long to reach this point. I feel more complete and fulfilled with you then I have at any other point in my life. While I have had fame and success in my career, I have never been happier than when I am just spending a quiet day at home with you and our family. You are the other half of my whole. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.”
After the wedding, we had an amazing reception with great food, drinks, and dancing.
The next morning it was time for Everly, Draco, and I to return to Newcrest. I can’t believe we are leaving without the twins. Saying goodbye to them was probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I am going to miss them so much.
But it is comforting to see how at home they are in Sulani. It is clear they belong there with Sirena and the rest of their mermaid family.
